Prevention

Preventive therapy and health education is an important part of our practice.  When someone's mouth is healthy there are no places where disease causing germs can hide from a toothbrush and dental floss.  The goal of all treatment in our practice is to restore and preserve oral health through a cooperative preventive therapy program with our patients.

Through proper oral hygiene measures in the dental office, at a home, patients can eliminate or dramatically reduce the occurrence or severity of dental cavities, periodontal (gum) diseases, and root canal infections.
