Dr. Fox Elected to The Best Dentists in America ^sm

The Best Dentists in America included Dr. Fox in annual  editions since 2004. This directory is published by Woodward/White, which has been publishing highly regarded referral lists of lawyers and physicians for over twenty years.  Listings in this directory can not be purchased, and no payment is required to be listed. 

Inclusion is based solely on an exhaustive peer-review survey in which 9,680 leading dentists throughout the United States were polled on the abilities of other dentists in general and specialty practice.  Of 140,000 practicing dentists in the country, only the top 5% were selected for this directory.

Dr. Fox was honored to be listed as one of the best dentists in America among specialists in prosthodontics, as well as those in periodontics.  Few dentists have achieved this distinction - while only a handful are listed in more than one category.

Lecture to Study Group

Dr. Fox was invited to present a two hour lecture on implant dentistry to a group of dentists. While dental implants have provided unique opportunities in dental care their use, overuse, or even misuse have created new problems for dentists.  Dr. Fox's lecture included discussion of strategic conceptual, biological, and biomechanical factors to enhance clinical success.  His talk was illustrated by 400 slides of patient care and clinical research literature review.  He also presented results of his own clinical studies.  We are pleased to report that his talk was very well received.

Dr. Fox has been active in continuing dental education for many years, and has presented over 350 hours of lectures to his colleagues.  More information is available on our pages about the doctor.

Innovations in dental implants

We've been very excited by our results with new refinements in dental implant shape and surface texture.  Recent research studies led us to expect faster and firmer fusion between dental implants and natural bone.  Results this year have exceeded our expectations - and those of our patients!
